The table displays information about the figures of Australian people who visited the seven most popular destinations in 1999 and 2009, which includes New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Indonesia, Fiji, Japan and China.

In 1999, New Zealand had the most quantities of travelling people who from Australia, which was followed by United Kingdom with 400,000. The United States listed the third (300,000). Then, Indonesia, Fuji, Japan and China ranked the fourth, fifth, sixth and seventh respectively with 150,000, 120,000, 100,000 and 86,000.

In 2009, New Zealand was the leading country with 1,064,000, the United Kingdom was next (640,000), then the United States was listed the third (400,000), while Indonesia, Fiji, Japan and China came last with 340,000, 257,000, 250,000 and 300,000.

As to the growth rate during 1999 to 2009, the increase percentage is 113%, 60%, 33%, 127%, 114%, 150% and 249% separately in New Zealand, United Kingdom, United States, Indonesia, Fiji, Japan and China.

Overall, it is obvious that China had the highest growth rate from 1999 to 2009, whereas the United States had the lowest ascent rate at the same time.
