Pollutants entering a particular area of ocean in 1997 and in 2007
The pie charts display the pollutants that include the farm waste, the offshore oil, the litter, the industrial waste, the marine transport waste, the domestic sewage and pollutants from the air, which entering a particular area of ocean in 1997 and in 2007. It is clear that the pollutants from the air had the largest part in 1997 and in 2007.
In 1997, the air pollutants accounted for the majority of ocean contaminants, which made up 30% and listed the first, the marine transport waste was next (22%), then, the domestic sewage ranked the third which took 18%. The industrial waste came last with 17%, which followed by the offshore oil with 5%. The farm waste and the litter had the minimum percentage of 4% separately.
In 2007, the rate of pollutants entering a special area of the ocean was 33%, 32%, 15%, 10%, 8% and 2% respectively in the air pollutants, the domestic sewage, the offshore oil, the industrial waste, the marine transport waste and the farm waste.
Overall, it is obvious that the farm waste had the minimum proportion in 1997 and in 2007.
