Pie--- Changes in the age structure of the population in a European country from 1901 to 1981 and a projection in 2021.

The 4 pie graphs display the changes in age structure of population in a European country between 1901 to 1981 and a projection in 2021. It is clear that the age of 0-64 is the main portation of population in a Eurpean country.

In term of the 0-64 age group, the percentage remained constant at 95% over the first 4 decades (1901-1941), followed by a decrease to 83% in 1981. In 2021, the proportion of the 0-64 age group predicted to fall to 78%.

As the 65-84 age group, the portation witnessed no change from 4% in1901 to 4% 1941, before sharply ascended to 13% in 1981. Finally, the figure of the 65-84 age group projected to increase to 16% in 2021.

For the 85+ age group, the percentage was 1%, 1% and 4% respectively in 1901, 1941 and 1981. and it estimated to rise to 6% in 2021.

Overall, the percentage of 85+ age group was less than the age group of 0-64 and 65-84 in each year.
