Children can learn effectively through watching TV. Therefore children should be encouraged to watch TV regularly both at home and at school. To what extent do you agree or disagree? Write a passage, at least 250 words.
Thanks for the development of technology, we could use the TV to acquire a lot of information and skill, especially the children, they could learn a wild range of knowledge from the media. At the same time, some people deem the children should be encouraged to watch TV in anywhere. Because, in their view, it is an effective approach that helps children to learn. But in my opinion, I do not agree with this since this is not an only way or better way to obtaining knowledge, particularly for the children.
In term of the education of the children, they could learn a wild range of knowledge from the book, school, their parents or their friends, not only the TV. On the other hand, we should not underestimate the physical development and mental health on children' growth, for example, they need much more social communication and outdoor sports, which would stimulate the development of the children body and reinforce the communication ability. Therefore, the children should pay more an attention to school, community, family or society, rather than waste much time to watching TV.
Except for the benefits of watching TV, It also has some demerits. For example, the children' eyesight would be decreased if they watching TV frequently. In addition, some negative videos exist on the TV programs, which includes sex, violence and so on, it would teach some bad behaves to the children such as smoking, drinking or drugging, which probably let them become the anti-society people in the future. So we should not blindly encourage them to watch TV.
Actually, the children could learn a plenty of things on TV, which not only includes the good things but also has the bad, and on the other hand, it is obvious that watching TV which is not an only way or the best approach to learning.
