The Types of good Australia imported from China (2003-2004) and the value of trade between China and Australia (1998-2004)
The two bar charts display the information of types of goods Australia imported from China between 2003 and 2004, and the value of trade between China and Australia during 1998 to 2004. It is clear that in 2004 the furniture had the minimum quantity which was imported from China, whereas the clothing had no change during 2003 to 2004.
In term of types of commodities which Australia imported from China, the clothing remained constant at 2400 from 2003 to 2004. Then, the toys and sports goods, which witnessed a sharp growth from 800 in 2003 to 3000 in 2004. Afterwards, the telecommunication good rose by 1000 in the same period. Finally, the furniture which ascended from 500 to 800 in one year.
As to the value of trade between China and Australia, the number of imports to China was 6, 9, 13 and 18 separately in 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004, while, the figure of exports from China was 4, 7, 8 and 11, respectively in 1998, 2000, 2002 and 2004.
Overall, it is obvious that the value of Australia exports to China had a steady upward trend during 1998 to 2004, which same as the increasing trend of Australia imports from China.
