Table---The percentage of men and women working in several sectors
The table chart displays the proportion of males and females working in several sectors. It is clear that the percentage of women working in tourism was more than the men in each year.
In term of men, they less and less working in the retail & shops, the rate was 23% in 1990, before falling significantly to 10% in 2000. Finally, in 2010, the figure decreased to 8%. the percentage of men working in the health, which was 9% in 1990 and 2000. Then the number increased to 10% in 2010. The rate of manufacturing witnessed a downward trend during 1990 to 2010, which the number dropped from 25% in 1990 to 10% in 2010, whereas the percentage of the men working in tourism had an upward trend, the quantity ascended sharply from 7% in 1990 to 20% in 2010.
As to women, much more females leave the health industry, which the figure had a dramatical decline from 20% to 14% during the decade, afterwards, it fell to 11% in 2010. Similarly, the percentage of women working in the manufacturing had a decrease from 15% to 9% during the two decades. On the other hand, more women working the tourism, which the figure increased from 23% in 1990 to 25% in 2010. At the same time, the proportion of females working in the retail & shops remind constant at 13% over the 30 years.
Overall, it is obvious that the men changed their main industry from manufacturing to tourism during 1990 to 2010.
