In many countries today, people buy a range of household goods (television, microwave oven and rick cookers). is it a positive or negative development?

At present, the most of modern families prefer to buy a host of household purchases. such as smart TV, video projector, and so on. 

Why household electronic productions play an important role in our life at present? I deem the reason why is It not only offers help to us on lifetime, it also supplies more changeable field to our life. Such as education, entertainment, shopping online, health management or security and so on. in other words, you can get quickly hot water by the microwave oven, and you also could acquire the different information or entertainment on the television, even you could learn anything you want on the Internet by PC. On this point, I believe this development is positive.

But the over-reliance and negative purchase of the household products would bring plenty of serious outcomes. Such as losing of traditional skill, resource-waste, even the environment pollution and so on. Especially the problem of resource-waste and environment pollution. It is well-known that manufacture of household goods need plenty of natural resources, such as minerals and woods. The behave of negative purchase would cause increasing the needs of the market then the manufactures would promote the production capacity to making more profit. Following, increasingly more raw materials are used to producing the household goods, and more and more package garbages and old appliances will be present at the landfill, which the most of the garbage cannot be de degrading.

Another problem is overusing modern household good would lose individuals' traditional skills, which already influence those ancient technologies, such as ancient crafts and ancient cooking. I deem they are like rare historical treasures which undergoing the hundreds of years inheritance. It is essential that we need to protect it and inherit it to our descendants again.

Totally, I deem people need a positive attitude to using and buying household commodities, rather than blindly meeting own material desires. At the same time, we should think more about the protection of the environment and traditional culture.
