Social networking sites IELTS Writing P2

Many people believe that social networking sites(like facebook) have had negative impact on individuals and society.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?

Today, plenty of social websites on the Internet, which makes huge changes to the traditional communicational approach. It is more inexpensive and efficient contact method that you can talk with your friend or family without geographical restriction. On the other hand, Some people deem it would have had a negative influence on citizens and society. In my opinion, I wholly agree on this point.

However, social network services already play a significant role in our life, especially in the youngsters, they use this to interact with friends or colleagues every day. Besides of this, social network offers a variety of services on the website, such as video, music, even the restaurant service. I want to say: "It is really convenient, and that is the reason why more and more youngsters like stay at home on the weekend, rather than play with their friends outdoor. "  

But It not only brings the convenient living style to us, also take a host of the serious problem in our society. For example, we are losing the writing ability, especially the youngsters. According to the incomplete statistics, The rate of written writing reduces the 70% in the three decades. The report displays that modern youngsters' writing rate is only 10% of the 30 years ago. In other words, sometime in the future, we only could use the keyboard for typing word since we forget the feels of writing by a pen.

Moreover, overusing the social network service, that would impact on the communicational ability. Particularly impact on the ability for talk face to face. Since we often talk with a screen, we cannot observe the body language and facial expressions when we talking online. In other words, interactional communication is not only an approach to information exchange but also include the emotion and body language contact.

Finally, In my view, I deem the social network function is a trend of future. But we should utilize it with more positive and reasonable.
